About me:
A few facts so you can get a sense of who I am:
I’m queer (cis) woman, with some fluidity to my gender identify, and ‘she/they’ pronouns.
I have lived experience of late diagnosis ADHD, as an unpaid carer for my sister who has a severe disability, and of (now healed) cPTSD.
I’m expressive, with an enthusiasm for life.
I love being a therapist and care deeply about this work. I see each of my clients as whole and unbroken. I am often moved by the courage my clients bring to therapy.
I swim in the sea daily and love creating my own meaningful, sacred rituals.
I’ve also worked as an NHS Carer Peer Support Coach, Community Engagement Manager, Group Facilitator, Fundraiser, and as a Writer/Performer.
I believe in:
Regulating the nervous system for long-term healing. Many issues arise from dysregulated, ‘functional’ states (fight, flight, freeze and fawn).
Parts work; especially when working with inner conflicts.
The healing power of meeting yourself in full with compassion and creating intentional time to play.
The ‘sacred pause’ (Tara Brach). As in, stepping out of our automatic, trance-like ‘doing’ and reconnecting with ‘being’. This is like therapy - a moment to pause, reflect, and “create a clearing in the dense forest of your life” (Martha Postlewaite).
… And lots more.
My work is informed by:
Psychosynthesis (my main training):
a transpersonal psychology that sees our impulse towards living more of who we are and finding meaning as vital for healing.

Jungian Archetypes and Storytelling
Family Constellations and intergenerational trauma
Gestalt
Creative tools like drawing, the imagination, and meditation
Somatic Experiencing (SE)
Professional Accreditation and Training Organisations:
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I trained with the Psychosynthesis Trust in London. I also completed a foundation year training in Somatic Experiencing (SE) with the SOS Internationale (SOSI).
