Is therapy for you?
We all need a space to slow down and be really listened to. Therapy is that space.
I think therapy would benefit us all. Most of us keep on as we always did. This is a chance to live life more fully. Plus, pushing negative feelings away is harmful for your body.
Dancing, cuddling those you love, laughing… there are many things that help your mental health. But therapy is a consistent, regular place outside of your busy life just for you. It supports you when you try out new ways of being.
The first step is to book a (free) twenty minute call. You can ask anything you like.
What to expect?
After our initial call, we will find a consistent time, day, and place.
In the first session, I’ll ask questions on the shape of your life so far and where you want to be.
Afterwards, if you’d like to continue, the therapy sessions will begin. You don’t need to know where to start. Some weeks might be sitting with what’s painful or confusing, and others might bring humour, insight, or quiet shifts.
Therapy can be deeply enriching. But it isn’t always easy. For example, when you feel more grounded, old emotions might surface - ones you couldn’t safely feel before. That’s normal.
Please don’t worry; we’ll go gently and respectfully to ensure you are not overwhelmed or retraumatised.
Please Note:
You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. It simply works when you are open to it. I may suggest practices like journalling and meditation that support the work we do together. And I’ll be right there alongside you every step of the way, helping you find your own way through.
